Holiday Rental Furniture Packages in Mallorca

Marès outdoor dining set for a holiday rental terrace in Mallorca

A holiday rental is furnished differently from a private home. Every piece is used by many different guests, photographed for the listing, cleaned between stays and expected to look the same in September as it did in May. LoNiu Home, a furniture store and interior design studio in Palma, puts together furniture packages for holiday rentals across Mallorca with exactly this in mind.

How our rental packages work

The simplest way to furnish a rental is room by room, using our Room Sets. Each set combines the main furniture for a room in one order and costs around 6% less than buying the pieces separately. There are 21 sets in four groups:

  • Dining sets – tables with four, six or eight chairs, including an extendable option for larger groups.
  • Living room sets – sofa with armchairs or lounge chairs and tables.
  • Bedroom sets – for main bedrooms and guest rooms.
  • Outdoor sets – outdoor dining sets and lounge sets for terrace and pool.

For a complete property we can combine sets with lighting, rugs and textiles into one itemised proposal and a single coordinated delivery.

What we look for in rental furniture

  • Durability: solid frames, hard-wearing tabletops and finishes that can be wiped clean.
  • Easy-care textiles: removable, washable covers where possible and neutral colours that are easy to match when something needs replacing.
  • Outdoor materials that cope with sun, salt and wet swimwear: teak, aluminium and quick-drying rope or outdoor fabrics. See the outdoor collection.
  • Enough seating: as many dining chairs and outdoor seats as the property sleeps, and preferably a few more.
  • Calm, photogenic design: natural materials and quiet tones that look good in listing photos and do not date quickly.

Licence requirements and furnishing

Tourist rental of homes in Mallorca is regulated by the Balearic tourism law, and the rules have changed several times in recent years. Among other things, the operator must provide bed linen, household linen and kitchenware and replace them as needed. We have summarised the main points, with official sources, in our guide How to furnish a holiday rental in Mallorca. It is general information, not legal advice; please confirm the current position with the Consell de Mallorca or a gestor.

Timing for the season

Most pieces arrive within about 3–4 weeks. Delivery is free anywhere in Mallorca; assembly and installation are available on request and quoted separately. To be ready for Easter or the start of the summer season, we recommend confirming your order at least six to eight weeks before the first guests arrive. Our checklist What a villa needs before its first rental season helps you plan.

For property managers and agencies

If you furnish or refurbish several rental properties, ask about our professional programme. We can work from your standard specification, keep track of what was supplied to each property and help with replacements. See also furnishing a holiday villa in Mallorca.
